Patients from across the country are referred to the Center, many of them after extended hospitalization in general hospitals. Most arrive still facing the severe consequences of their neurological, orthopedic or multi-system injuries, in a state of dependence and uncertain if they will ever be able to regain the ability to function independently.
At Loewenstein, these patients begin an intensive rehabilitation process guided by experienced multidisciplinary teams from Israel and around the world.
