Since its establishment in 1959, the Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center has been the largest and leading rehabilitation center of its kind in Israel, and one of the leading centers in the world in rehabilitation medicine.
The center provides comprehensive rehabilitation treatment to thousands of patients each year – children, young adults, and adults, both civilians and IDF soldiers – suffering from various diseases or injuries that cause functional impairments, including: head and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries and limb amputations, strokes and chronic neurological diseases, war injuries, injuries from road accidents, as well as oncology patients undergoing rehabilitation alongside prolonged treatments.
