About Us

Who we are?

The Friends of Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center was established in 1985.
The association raises funds for Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center and holds many and varied fundraising events to finance activities, and to purchase and renovate advanced equipment that is not covered by public funding. The association is operated entirely by volunteers, some of whom are senior players in the Israeli economy.

Our Mission

The Friends of Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center seeks to promote and improve the wellbeing of patients recovering at Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center through the donations it raises.

The Association raises the funds required to ensure that the treatment and services provided by the medical center are at the forefront of global developments in rehabilitation medicine.

The main objective of the Association is to improve the achievements and wellbeing of the inpatients, including IDF soldiers and civilians, adults and children suffering from head injuries, strokes, spinal injuries, and orthopedic injuries as a result of accidents, terrorist acts, and various diseases. Loewenstein patients often spend months and sometimes years in the medical center.

The objective of the Association is to ensure the wellbeing of all medical center patients and their families by purchasing equipment, accessories, and medical devices that are essential for advancing the rehabilitation process but for which no public funding is available.
